BRAWL Generated Lots of Buzz

Brokers Rallying Against Whole-tail Lending (BRAWL), is a new network of independent mortgage brokers across the country that has a mission to stop the unethical practices used by “whole-tail lenders.” A term coined by BRAWL to “swipe at mortgage lenders that offer both wholesale and retail services on paper, when in reality, their primary business objective is to feed stolen prospect information directly to their affiliate companies.” Generating lots of conversation at the conference, BRAWL is receiving a very positive response from lenders and brokers.

Social Activities Yield Camaraderie and Connection

NAMB National in Las Vegas wouldn’t be the same without parties and social gatherings. 2017 saw a PRMG event at the Voodoo Lounge that met with rave reviews. REMN’s exciting party in the exhibit hall featured voice star Ddendyl Hoyt, courtesy of FirstFunding. At the end of the convention, the closing party featured Foreigner lead singer Lou Gramm backed by a fantastic backup band and powering out many of the band’s classic hits.

NAMB National was huge this year with high attendance, 80 more exhibitors than last year, and propelled industry professionals with critical tools and information to move forward and grow their companies. The next NAMB National will be held December 8-10, 2018 at Caesar’s Palace.
